Mead Acupuncture

***NEW***Community Acupuncture

Beginning  June 6th, I will be offering Community Acupuncture at Willow Health & Wellness.  The cost will be $40 a session.

What is Community Acupuncture?

Community Acupuncture is treatment in a group setting usually in some type of reclining chair and needles are placed in the head, ears, arms and legs.  Treatments typically last 20-30 minutes and are offered at a discounted price from a private acupuncture session.

How will privacy be maintained in a group setting?

At Willow Health & Wellness, we offer community acupuncture in a room with two chairs.  If there is someone already being treated in the room when you arrive for your appointment, we will discuss privately your reason for treatment prior to entering the treatment room.

What can be treated?

Community acupuncture is great for people who are seeking relief from stress, anxiety, mild depression, fibromyalgia, or mild digestive issues.  It can also be used for smoking cessation or assistance with addictive behaviors.  Community Acupuncture is strictly a needle treatment.   Community Acupuncture is not appropriate for patients with acute neck pain, back pain or sciatic pain.  No adjunctive treatments are used such as moxibustion, e-stim, cupping, guasha, or tuina.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule Community Acupuncture online through the Online Scheduling tab above or through this link.
